WORD WORK GROUP WORKSHOP #1

In Breda, in the frame of the wonderful BRIK Festival, the Word group had its first workshop.
First words, emotions coming through words, forbidden words, words in translation, words filling in blank spaces…
Mapping partners Polka Theatre, Artika Theatre Company, Baboro International Arts Festival for Children, under the lead of Christian Schrøder of Theatre Madam Bach and with the guidance of the researchers Yvette Hardie and Manon van de Water, explore the meaningful world of words in theatre for early years. The workshop also hosted a session on how children develop language with the neuroscientist Amy Bidgood, and defined the steps until next wokshop, that will take place in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain) in the frame of the festival organised by Teatro Paraiso in November 2020.
